T O P I C R E V I E WCeridwenAnyone else seen this?I`ve seen it some years ago and was reminded of that yesterday and rewatched it, and I still loved it immensely. I wonder what in my chart makes me adore Joss Whedon`s stuff so much! (I mean I also loved "Firefly" or "Buffy" or "Angel", there`s something about his work that just speaks to me in a major way) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Of9kHpCv1ts (of course it kinda helps it has Nathan Fillion in it. Just having a weak spot for those Aries I suppose )teaselI've never seen it, but kept meaning to watch, whenever someone mentioned it.I've only seen two episodes of Buffy, a handful of Angel, and finally watched Firefly last September, thanks to Netflix. I tend to get hooked on shows by Bryan Fuller, or the guy who created Felicity, or Lost. I started to watch Alias, last year, but didn't get through the first season. I wonder if it's just because it's been so long since it was on, and it takes me back to when it aired (when things were better). I've tried re-watching Lost, but haven't stuck with it, but I always go back to the Gilmore Girls - it's like comfort food. CeridwenHow did you like "Firefly"?It took me some time to sort of get "into it", but when it did, I really liked it. I also liked "Gilmore Girls", but somehow do not really rewatch it, I guess I am more a SciFi/Fantasy/Mystery/reallyweirdstuff - kind of type. For some weird reason I never really "got" `Lost`, though the pilot was OUTSTANDING. RandallI like his tv show, SHIELD.teasel quote:Originally posted by Ceridwen:How did you like "Firefly"?It took me some time to sort of get "into it", but when it did, I really liked it. I found the movie online, once I'd finished the series.I should put Buffy on whilst I'm doing stuff around the house. My sister loved the show, and Alias. I've just found out that JJ Abrams was responsible for getting 11/22/63 filmed for Hulu. Now I'm tempted to check my synastry with him, and Bryan Fuller, to see why I might be drawn to their shows. Although I've just found out that JJ was Alias' creator. At the moment, I want to watch Dead Like Me. It's comfort food, like the Gilmore Girls. teasel quote:Originally posted by Randall:I like his tv show, SHIELD.I thought you were talking about The Shield, but it's Agents of Shield, isn't it?
